The fun part of the process is when you finally get to put a quality design into action for your bedroom furniture. It is always a good idea to start designing your room by choosing the bed first, as you will want to design around this. Next, it is best to buy a dresser. You have the option of either choosing a dresser than matches the bed exactly or one that provides a contrast; either one will work fine.

From here, purchase any other furniture you would like to have in your bedroom and stand by the same principle; it should either match or provide contrast. Once you have all the furniture in the room, positioning is completely up to you. Many people like to put their desks underneath a window so they have the warmth of sunlight on their shoulders while they work, and some like to position the bed so that it is facing a desk or dresser with a TV on top. Come up with a few designs and try one out; you can always make changes if you need to.
